The Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate 4th of July Powwow is an annual gathering that celebrates the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate tribe. Held at the Pow Wow Grounds Rd in Sisseton, South Dakota, this event brings together members of the tribe and visitors from all over to partake in a weekend of dancing, drumming, singing, and traditional foods. The powwow features a grand entry, where dancers adorned in colorful regalia move to the beat of the drums in a stunning display of skill and tradition.
